The Seanad has heard calls for Roscommon Courthouse to be upgraded and reopened as soon as possible.
It has been closed since 2022 and court sittings have taken place in a temporary courthouse on the Racecourse Road.
But Senator Gareth Scahill says it’s not big enough and there are sound problems also.

The Fine Gael man is calling for the Public Expenditure Minister, Jack Chambers, to update the Seanad on the situation.
