Senator Eugene Murphy and Dr Martin Daly are set for a Fianna Fáil selection showdown tonight in Roscommon. They are the two remaining candidates in the race for the party's nomination in Roscommon-Galway. That's after Cllrs Paschal Fitzmaurice and John Keogh and Brideswell native withdrew from the process. Senator Murphy lost his Dáil seat in 2020 while Dr Daly is long-time party member who runs a GP practice in Ballygar.
