It includes 4,000 in Co Roscommon, 3,500 in Leitrim and 1,000 in Longford. 

Over 8,000 homes, farms and businesses in the Shannonside region remain without power - over 11 days after Storm Eowyn.

It includes 4,000 in Co Roscommon, 3,500 in Leitrim and 1,000 in Longford.

Several people in Ballinlough, west Roscommon, are waiting for their power to be restored.

Caroline says she's getting increasingly annoyed by the delay.

Maureen is another person without power in Ballinlough.

Edwina Guckian has been without power in Leitrim since the storm, and says they wanted to discuss their issues with the forests with Government in the past:

Independent councillor Des Guckian is very critical of the ESB's response to the crisis.
