LISTEN: Sligo-Leitrim TD raises serious concerns over lack of homecare packages

Local hospitals and nursing homes are reluctant to discharge patients to their homes because of a lack of homecare packages.

That's according to Sligo-Leitrim TD Frank Feighan, who raised the issue in the Dáil yesterday.

He says the issue is badly impacting on elderly and infirm people.

The Fine Gael deputy says the government and the HSE needs to urgently address the issue.
