A cousin of west Roscommon councillor Anthony Waldron has paid a glowing tribute to him, following his sudden death yesterday.
He lost his life at his home in Ballintubber yesterday morning, at the age of 64.
He had been an Independent councillor on Roscommon County Council since 2019.

He was also a Fianna Fáil councillor between 2004 and 2009.
His first cousin, Austin Waldron, spoke to Eoghan Murphy about his death his morning.
