The wife of an Elphin resident who is in a prison in Iraq says she is considering chaining herself to public buildings to highlight his case.
Robert Pether who is originally from Australia is serving a 5 year jail terms and 12 million dollar fine following a dispute between his employer and the Central Bank of Iraq.
An appeal against the conviction was held behind closed doors without Mr Pether or his solicitors knowledge and the conviction still stands.
His wife Desree and his children have been appealing to the Irish and Australian government for help to get him home.
Desree says she is getting no support at all and is now preparing to take drastic action.
