Bank of Ireland is to open a number of branches in the Shannonside region on Saturdays from October 1st to October 22nd to help anyone who wants to set up a new bank account to do so.
Thousands of people have been affected by Ulster Bank and KBC's decision to withdraw from the Irish market.
Bank of Ireland's decision to open 61 branches - which are all located close to a bank that is due to close - is designed to help those who need to switch. The Bank of Ireland branches at The Square in Roscommon and 68 Main Street in Longford and its Mohill branch will open 10am - 2pm, October 1st to October 22nd
