A local businessman says footfall is down by 70% at his filling station due to roadworks. Pat Towey owns a filling station in Ballaghaderreen on the Dublin road and has been critical with some of the arrangements in place.
He says trucks have been struggling to deliver goods to the shop due to access issues. Mr Towey also questioned why the works couldn't be carried out at night:
