A north-west based cancer support group says the ongoing computer issues within the HSE is adding to the stress experienced by people with cancer.
I.T systems are being rebuilt across the health service following the cyber attack earlier this month that affected health systems across the country
People who have been diagnosed with cancer, or those awaiting test results, have also been affected, with appointments and clinics postponed due to the computer issue.
Bridget Kerrigan is the General Manager with the Sligo Cancer Support Centre which also assists people living in Leitrim and the north Roscommon area.
She says that the cyber attack has been very disruptive:
