Local concerns raised over sale of Boyle Post Office building

The postmaster of Boyle post office is expressing serious concern about how the sale of the building will affect his business.

An Post is selling the three-storey premises in Shop Street, but insists the post office will remain in place.

Paul Forde has been the postmaster there for over 16 years, on a contracted basis, and rents part of the building from An Post.

He fears the business will be impacted by the sale, which he only learnt about recently.

Paul has several worries about the possible change of ownership.
