A Longford councillor has branded faults to electricity supply in Granard as 'unacceptable'. Newly elected councillor and Granard postmaster Pádraig McNamara says the issue has been raised numerous times by residents in recent weeks. In a statement to Shannonside FM, ESB networks also confirmed that 1,200 customers were affected by a medium voltage line fault in Finea on June 18th In response to this fault, essential maintenance is due to be carried out in July which they say will bring increased reliability to the network.
