A Roscommon councillor says overgrown verges are causing major problems for the county's road users. Fine Gael's Gareth Scahill says the issue has been raised with him a number of times since his election last month.
A recent meeting of the Roscommon Municipal District heard up to four machines are working to cut back overgrowth in the area. Cllr Scahill says recent rapid growth of vegetation has made matters worse for motorists and pedestrians alike:
