Local villages could be wiped out if urgent action isn't taken to alleviate rising water levels at Lough Funshinagh. That's the opinion of Councillor Laurence Fallon, who says the situation at the south Roscommon turlough has now reached 'crisis point'. Cllr Fallon has invited the new Taoiseach, the Tánaiste and Green Party leader Eamon Ryan to see for themselves the 'fear and devastation'.
