Leitrim and Roscommon have the highest number of homes available to buy. The finding comes from a new analysis issued by Savills. The real estate agency used data from the most recent Daft.ie report on the property market and adjusted it to population figures. Leitrim has the highest number of houses for sale per 10,000 people at 42.9. In total, there are 156 houses for sale in the county.
The figure is followed by Roscommon, where 300 homes are available to buy, at 41.5 homes on sale per every 10,000 of the population. Longford is in tenth position on the list, with 123 homes on sale and 25.1 per 10,000 people. Overall, Monaghan holds the lowest amount of houses on sale per head of population, at 12.2 per 10,000 people.
