A local office of the North Longford and Arva Credit Union is closing down next month.
It has been announced that the Credit Union office in Ballinamuck will permanently close on the 21st of June.
The Drumlish and Arva offices will remain available to serve the local community.
The closure comes as a result of a weak footfall in the area.
Longford-based senator, Micheál Carrigy, explained that while it may be a disappointing decision for the community of Ballinamuck, it is fundamental that small businesses are supported by the public:
