The Diocese of Elphin is pledging four vacant properties in an effort to house Ukrainian refugees.
The houses are located across Roscommon and Sligo and have been assessed by the Irish Red Cross for their use.
Almost 100,000 euro has been raised by the diocese in recent weeks which will go towards humanitarian work on the ground in Ukraine.
A further three buildings have been offered by parishes in the Achonry diocese.
It's hoped families will arrive at the properties in the coming weeks.
The Diocese of Ardagh and Clonmacnois has confirmed that two parishes have asked permission to make houses available to Ukrainian refugees and this has been approved.
A town presbytery has also offered to make accommodation available.
