The founder of a Leitrim distillery has called for the EU to rethink its plans to impose tariffs on American whiskey. It comes in response to the EU's decision to target American whiskey and impose taxes of up to 50%. US President Donald Trump took to social media and accused the EU of being one of the most 'abusive taxing authorities in the world.'
