The Emergency Departments at Sligo University Hospital and Mullingar Hospital are extremely busy today.
Figures from the INMO show there are 61 people in the Shannonside region waiting for a hospital today with 40 of those waiting on trolleys.
Those attending Sligo University Hospital are being warned to expect delays as there are 48 people waiting on a bed, 29 of those on trolleys.

That's followed by the Regional Hospital Mullingar where 11 people are on trolleys and 2 are waiting elsewhere in the Hospital.
Nationally, 593 patients were waiting for a bed in hospital this morning.
93 of those patients were in University Hospital Limerick, 82 in Cork University Hospital, and 53 at Galway University Hospital.
