Employers across the Shannonside region are being encouraged to investigate how further education and training can benefit their business. The Galway Roscommon Education and Training Board are hosting a free business and education event from 1pm to 2pm at the Abbey Hotel in Roscommon Town. The lunchtime event will offer employers the chance to see what GRETB has available for their specific sector in areas such as training, upskilling and further education.
The event is also aimed at allowing employers to connect with the GRETB and inform them of their specific needs when it comes to new training programmes. Marie Devane is the Employer Services Officer with the GRETB and says the event is a great opportunity to meet employers:
