Shannonside politicians are calling on the government to heed the calls for a clear road map for vaccinations and easing of restrictions over the coming months.

The government is expected to meet next week to outline what restrictions can be lifted next month, with a strong indication now that people will be allowed to travel more than the 5 kilometre limit in place now since Christmas.
There's also concern over schools re-opening after Easter, with reports that some schools are sending books home with students for the Easter break in anticipation that they will close again.
Longford Fine Gael Councillor Padraic Brady who is Chair of the Mid Leinster Regional Forum says the Minister for Health needs to set out the expectation in terms of vaccination targets.
Longford Senator Michael Carrigy called for a clear road map to be given to the public and businesses at last night's Fine Gael parliamentary meeting.
He maintains that this should be based on the rollout of vaccination programme in the population.
