A local food company has recorded major prices hikes due to the war in Ukraine.
The Lunch Bag which delivers over school lunches to over 500 schools every day has saw the cost of some ingredients soar in recent months.
Managing director Ger Killian says chicken prices has risen by 198 percent while packaging has also jumped by 110 percent.

Speaking to Shannonside FM the Longford native says despite the increases they're still able to provide fresh lunches at an affordable cost.
