Garda divisions in the Shannonside region have two new Superintendents following promotions and transfers.
The appointments mean both Roscommon and Ballinasloe Garda Stations have new officers in place with responsibility for their respective Community Engagement Areas.
Superintendent Michael Dorrigan has been promoted in Roscommon, where he will lead up the Mayo/Roscommon/Longford Garda Division.
Meanwhile, Superintendent OIiver Baker has been transferred to Ballinasloe where he will oversee the Galway Garda Division.
Both appointments took place on the 10th of June but were only confirmed by An Garda Síochána this week.
