Local Gardaí arrest motorist over multiple road safety violations

A motorist in Roscommon is to face court following a number of traffic offences. Roscommon Roads Policing Unit stopped a car on Saturday afternoon. The driver had no license and no tax on the vehicle.

The vehicle was detained and court proceedings are to follow. Gardaí are reminding the public that they will be monitoring local and national roads on the lead up to Christmas to ensure adherence to the rules of the road.
