Local Gardaí find young driver with forged insurance disc

A young driver was discovered with a forged insurance disc during a traffic stop in Roscommon earlier this week. Gardaí say they were on patrol when the ANPR system alerted them to an uninsured car on the N60.

When stopped the young driver was found to have a forged insurance disc displayed in the window. He also had no driving licence. There has been a recent crackdown on forged insurance discs by Gardaí in the Shannonside region.
