Local Gardaí took part in a new anti drug campaign over the Bank Holiday Weekend.
Roscommon and Longford Gardaí were part of 'Night Time Economy Patrols' in urban areas across the two counties.
The aim of the operation is to prevent and detect the sale, supply and consumption of controlled drugs and is targeted at busy social events or weekends.
Members of the Divisional Drugs unit were on the ground in local towns while, the Garda Roads Policing Unit conducted a number of checkpoints.
The operation began on Thursday evening and finished yesterday morning in both counties.
