The tractor, with a roller attached, was being driven by a 14 year old with a 13 year old passenger.

Gardaí are appealing to the farming community to not put their children at risk by letting them control high powered farming machinery.

The call comes after an incident in Westmeath, where local Gardaí came upon tractor being driven by a 14 year old with a 13 year old passenger.

The machinery was uninsured and hadn't been taxed in just short of 11 years.
