A young driver with no learner permit or driving licence has been stopped by Gardaí in Longford. The individual's toddler sibling was found to be sitting in the passenger seat when pulled over by Gardaí due to no insurance disc being on display. Gardaí seized the vehicle, which was uninsured and untaxed for over two years.
The siblings were brought home to their family and court proceedings will follow for the driving offences. Gardaí are reminding the public of the importance of having young children properly and safely secured in a vehicle.
