The organisers of a public meeting in Boyle last Friday night say they are concerned by a lack of consultation around the housing of refugees in the town. The Boyle Concerned Locals group claim they are not against immigration but say there are not enough services in Boyle. Last Friday's meeting took place in St. Joseph's Hall and a number of public representatives including local TDs were in attendance.
Boyle Concerned Locals have denied there was a anti-immigration element to their protests and say the majority of those in attendance last Friday were Boyle residents.
