The number of people accessing emergency accommodation across the region has increased, according to new figures from the Department of Housing.
Data released over the weekend revealed that 136 people were accessing emergency support at the end of September.
According to the figures, 60 people were accessing emergency supports in Westmeath, the highest number in the region, followed by Longford, with 24 people availing of the accommodation.
In Monaghan and Cavan, a total of 22 homeless people were benefiting from the aid, while there were 19 in Roscommon.
Leitrim was the county with the lowest figure, at 11 people availing of the emergency support.
In total, 136 people were accessing emergency accommodation by the end of the month, an increase of 11 since August's report.
Nationally, 8923 people were availing of emergency support at the end of September.
