Local hospitality business owners will join a rally in Dublin later today to protest Budget 2025.
The rally is being organised by the Irish Restaurants Association against what they've described as a 'lack of Government support for the sector'.
It follows the decision to retain the existing 13.5 per cent VAT rate for the sector despite repeated calls to reduce it to 9 per cent.
