Local hospitality businesses to protest Budget 2025 in Dublin today

Restaurant owners say that they have been badly let down by Government.

Local hospitality business owners will join a rally in Dublin later today to protest Budget 2025.

The rally is being organised by the Irish Restaurants Association against what they've described as a 'lack of Government support for the sector'.

It follows the decision to retain the existing 13.5 per cent VAT rate for the sector despite repeated calls to reduce it to 9 per cent.

CEO of the Irish Restaurants Association Adrian Cummins says the restaurant owners have been badly let down by Government.

Speaking to Lets Talk, he urged industry members to attend Tuesday's rally:
