The hospitality industry could be facing an employment crisis as a result of another lockdown according a restaurant owner in Leitrim.
From 3pm on Christmas Eve restaurants and pubs that serve food will have to close.
December 4th saw the most recent lockdown conclude but there are growing fears that many people employed in the industry will now seek work elsewhere ahead of the prospect of another lengthy shutdown of the industry.
Jo O'Brien from Vittos restaurant says it has been hard to explain Covid measures to customers this month and employees are also growing frustrated with the situation
