Demand is increasing for self referrals for Covid 19 testing in the Shannonside region.
The HSE is urging people to book a slot as walk-in appointments at test centres are suspended.
This is due to long queues forming.
The rise in demand is being driven by children under 14 since schools re-opened.
Speaking on Let's Talk today Emma Ball, Manager of Community Health Care in Leitrim, Cavan and Monaghan is advising people that appointments are available for tomorrow through the online system.
She says demand for tests in Carrick-on-Shannon has been steady.
