A General Election candidate in the Longford-Westmeath constituency is calling for the set up of an Immigrant School of Trades.
Independent Paul Bradley believes such an institution could see International Protection Applicants with in demand trades trained to enter the workforce.
He believes the school could also help train other migrants in skills in high demand sectors such as construction.
Speaking on the Let's Talk General Election Debate this week, Paul Bradley says he would also seek urgent upgrades of essential services to meet the needs of the public and migrants if elected.
