Roscommon-Galway TD Michael Fitzmaurice says Independent Ireland held 'constructive' government-formation talks with Fianna Fail and Fine Gael this morning. They held talks with negotiators in Dublin this morning, including Fianna Fail's Jack Chambers and Fine Gael's Helen McEntee.
Independent Ireland are seen as unlikely to be part of the next government - with a deal with the Regional Independents on the cards. But Deputy Fitzmaurice says he was happy with this morning's talks:
