Lough Ree RNLI assisted 8 people on the lake over the last week.
On Thursday afternoon, the RNLI was tasked by the Irish Coast Guard to go to the assistance of a cruiser with four people on board which had run aground on the Hexagon Shoal in the south of the lake.
On Friday evening they attended a stricken boat with two people on board near Nun's Island.
Meanwhile on Saturday morning last, the service assisted two people on board a 40ft cruiser stranded on rocks near Nun's Island.
Kevin Ganly, volunteer Lifeboat Operations Manager at Lough Ree RNLI has urged Lake users to be extra vigilant due to falling water levels on the lake this month.
He also thanked all the volunteers who responded to call-outs last week for their dedication to keeping people safe on the water.
