Local members of Macra na Feirme have teamed up with the Road Safety Authority to encourage better road safety through a series of online videos.
Roscommon resident Niamh Farrell says many young people from rural communities often find themselves on the road and they hope this new initiative will raise awareness around safety.
It will also give the general public a better understanding around the use of farm machinery on Irish roads.
Six videos will be released over the coming weeks on Macra's social media platforms varying from car and tyre checks, driving behind a tractor, moving livestock, cycling safety and driver fatigue.
The Chair of the rural youth committee is encouraging all members of the public to watch the videos.
''They resonate with everyone that's in rural Ireland whether you're cycling a bike, moving livestock, stuck behind a tractor. They're taken from both perspectives, the person sitting in the car and the person in the machinery and its important that drivers understand the issues that farmers can have when driving a tractor that they can't see.''
