Local Men's sheds are set to benefit from new funding announced today. Minister for Public Health and Wellbeing, Colm Burke announced this morning that €250,000 worth of funding will be made available to men's sheds across the country.
There are currently 21 Men Sheds across the Shannonside region which helps the mental health and well-being of men locally. Sligo-Leitrim TD Frank Feighan says the new funding will provide stability to local men's sheds:
