A local MEP has called on the dairy industry to provide direct financial supports to farmers who undertake capital projects. MEP for Midlands-Northwest Ciaran Mullooly met with senior management at Lakelands Co-Op this week as part of ongoing talks. He outlined the issues the European Parliament and Agri Committee will be addressing in the coming months.
