The Minister for Company Regulation is hoping a new bill coming before the Dail will make it easier for small local firms to enter and subsequently exit the examinership process.
Longford-Westmeath TD Robert troy is introducing the 'small company administrative rescue process' before the Oireachtas this afternoon, and it
is hoped it will be fully legalised before the summer recess later this month.
The SCARP bill aims to simplify the complex legal processes involved in examinership as well reducing the legal costs involved and expediting the overall process.
Minister Troy says the pandemic has had a huge effect on companies and the Bill should allow more firms to adapt and re-organise to stay trading.
