Road users are being urged to exercise extreme caution while driving in high winds today.
An Orange wind warning has been issued to Galway, Mayo, Clare, Kerry, Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal from noon to 8pm this evening.
Drivers are advised to pay particular attention to motorbikes or vehicles veering across the road.
