Motorists traveling from Longford to Roscommon are being warned to expect delays over the next month due to roadworks on a busy section of a national route.
Longford County Council has begun a significant reconstruction of the N63 at near Kilashee in Longford.
A section of the route, which connects the two counties, will be closed until Friday the 11th of August for works including the construction of new Kerbs/Footpaths.
The Aghnaskea Bridge Pavement Scheme is being progressed by Roadstone Limited on behalf of Longford County Council.
Traffic exiting Longford will have no access to Killashee Village along the N63, however, the route will be open to motorists during the weekends.
