People across the Shannonside region are being advised to check with their local parishes for attendance arrangements at Christmas Services this year.
Tickets for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day services are already available in some locations while different arrangements may apply in others.
At St Mel's Cathedral in Longford, tickets for Christmas services will be available for collection from this Friday the 18th.
In Roscommon's Sacred Heart Church, four masses will be said on Christmas Eve and three on Christmas Day with a Facebook post last night suggesting that all tickets for masses had now been allocated.
At St Mary's Church in Carrick on Shannon, a limited number of single and family tickets remain available for two masses on Christmas eve and three on Christmas Day.
Meanwhile, in St Dominic's Church in Kenagh, Co Longford, Fr Tom Barden will be braving the elements to provide his Drive-In service this Christmas.
He says they're hoping to be able to accommodate extra massgoers in their cars for the festive celebrations.
