A Government Minister and Sligo-Leitrim TD is hopeful that immunosuppressed people who are more at risk from Covid-19 are to be moved up vaccine waiting lists from tomorrow.
Minister of State with the Department of Health, Deputy Frank Feighan says that the updated vaccine priority list to be released by Government tomorrow could see thousands of people with an underlying condition getting vaccinated sooner than originally planned.
The Cabinet sub-committee on Covid-19 will meet today to discuss the phased reopening of the country along with the updated plan on living with the virus that's due for release tomorrow.
The national 14-day incidence rate of the disease is currently 243, which is the lowest it's been since December 21st.
