Local pet owners are being warned to look out for their animals this evening. While fireworks, trick or treaters and bonfires can be fun for humans, they lead to increased stress in pets, farm animals and wildlife. Animal owners are asked to make sure their pets are secured and safe as animals can often get scared and run away due to the noise of fireworks.
