Voters heading to polling stations tomorrow are reminded that they don't need a polling card in order to have their say in the General Election. A number of voters in the Shannonside region have not yet received their cards ahead of polls opening in the morning.
However, the returning officer for the Roscommon-Galway constituency says those registered to vote just require formal identification to take part. Speaking to Shannonside News, Olivia Bushell says photo ID such as a driver's licence or Passport will suffice.
Olivia also reminded those heading out tomorrow to be prepared for the wintry weather.
