Local RNLI crews are reporting a busy bank holiday weekend on local waters.
Volunteer lifeboat crews from the Lough Ree RNLI came to the aid of four people in two different incidents over the weekend.
In one emergency, the charity's lifeboat came to the aid of a 37ft steel cruiser which had lost power and run aground close to Long Island.
In a second incident on Saturday, the crew responded to a craft which was drifting on the lake between Coosan Point and Beam Island.
Two people were on board and following a safety inspection by RNLI experts the craft was escorted towards Athlone.
