A County Roscommon school will host a major auction next Friday to raise funds for a new playground.
The auction in aid of Croghan National School will take place in the Four Provinces, Rathallen on the 1st of December.
The playground is expected to cost up to €80,000 and the auction is the school's first fundraising effort.
The new facility will complement an existing playground but will feature more sensory equipment.
It will also include the installation of ground works, a soft play surface, and a play tower.
