A local senator has called for progress to fill the vacant speech and language therapist position in County Roscommon. Fianna Fáil senator, Eugene Murphy made the call in the Seanad this morning.
Senator Murphy believes it is unacceptable for children with Special Needs to be still on waiting lists. He also called on Minister of State in the Department of Health, Mary Butler, to fill the position as soon as possible:
