A local student has encouraged other students to enter the BT Young Scientist. Ava Gaffney, who is a Transition Year student in Ballinamore Community School, was part of a wider group of students from other schools across the country that recently participated in the BT Young Scientist Business Bootcamp.
As part of her project, she took a look at the bus routes at her local school to see whether they were operating in the most efficient way. Speaking to Let's Talk earlier today, Ava said it's a great opportunity for students:
