A local TD has called for a full Dáil suspension to discuss the violent scenes in Dublin. Riots erupted in the capitol city last night with multiple garda patrol cars, busses, and a luas tram set on fire. The events followed a violent attack on schoolchildren in the Parnell Square Area in which 3 children and a carer were injured, 2 seriously.
Roscommon-Galway TD. Denis Naughten, says the thoughts and prayers of everyone are with the children and victims of yesterday's knife attack. Speaking on the Joe Finnegan Show earlier, he branded last night's scenes of destruction as disgusting and called for Dáil business next Tuesday to be suspended:
